COACH BANKS

Coach Banks was born in Jefferson Georgia where he attended Jackson County High School. There he played Varsity baseball for 4 years and earned all region honors his senior season. After graduating, Coach Banks attended Maryville college where he played 3 years of collegiate baseball as a utility athlete and pitcher before a career ending labrum tear. Pitching was always his true passion, which led him to become the pitching coach at Ensworth High School since 2018. In his 6 seasons and counting with Ensworth, Coach Banks has helped students of all skill levels learn how to pitch. He prides himself in his ability to coach athletes who are just beginning their pitching career to those who move on to the division 1 level. In his free time, Coach Banks enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kids on their 7 acre farm. He also enjoys watching sports, playing video games, and the occasional Dungeons and Dragons game with Coach Loveday and their friends.
